What We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to our users. We collect information in two ways:

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
(a) The Personal Information we collect allows us to keep you posted on our latest product announcements, software updates, and to contact you for market research purposes.
(b) We may use your Personal Information to send you promotional information about third parties, which we think you may find interesting, unless you request that we that we not provide you with such information.
(c) We may use your Personal Information to send you important notices, such as communications about purchases and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
(d) We may also use Personal Information for internal purposes such as internal record keeping, data analysis, and research to help us improve our products, services, content, and advertising.
(e) We may also enable you to share your Personal Information and communicate with other ValuSoft Cosmi users (“Users”), or provide your personal details to third parties offering combined services through ValuSoft Cosmi.
(f) We may use your Personal Information to administer your account with us and customize the service we provide to you and other Users.
(b) We may share Demographic Data with advertisers and other third parties on an aggregated basis.
Confidentiality and Security
Maintaining Personal Information
You can help ensure the accuracy of your Personal Information by updating your product or service settings any time your Personal Information changes. For other Personal Information, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access so you can request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if we are not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes.
If you believe that your Personal Information is incorrect or incomplete, you may contact us using the contact information at http://www.valusoft.com/support/. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law.
You must promptly notify us if your Financial Data, user name, or password is lost, stolen, or used without permission. In such an event, we will remove such information from your account and update our records accordingly.
We may also gather some information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type and language, Internet Service Provider, referring and exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and click-stream data. We use this information to understand and analyze data; to administer the website, applications and services; to learn about user behavior; and to gather demographic data about our user base as a whole. We may use this information in our marketing and advertising services.

When you use certain features in MasterCook, we may receive Log Information, which would include information such as when and how you use our services, browser type, and IP addresses. You may choose to use optional features within MasterCook that require a MasterCook account and for which we may receive and store information from MasterCook in association with your account.
